Ordering + Basics

How does ordering work?

You must select four entrees and four small plates. (We call that a “base order.”) From there, you can add additional dishes from any section of the menu. Our add-ons are a great place to round out your week with soups, breakfast goods, lunch salads, meals for kids, and treats.

When ordering for more than one person, we have two options:

CLASSIC:
With a Classic order, we'll automatically size up your “base order” selections to feed the correct amount of people. (Example: If you choose “three people” and then the green salad, you’ll get three portions of that salad.)

FLEX:
A Flex order is a great option if each person you're ordering for wants different items or needs to make different modifications. (Example: If you choose "three people" and two people want a salad with no nuts and one person wants all vegan food, you'll be able to pick individual dishes for each person you are ordering for.)

How much does it cost?

A minimum order (for one person) is $100. You’ll get eight dishes—which, depending on your appetite, works out to be anywhere from four to six meals. With our Classic option, additional eaters are just $50 per person. (So, $150 for two people.) A more a la carte ordering experience starts at $180 for two people. We call this our Flex option.

Delivery ranges from $5 to $15, depending on your location. We take great pride in paying our drivers a fair living wage, so they aren’t reliant on tips. However, if you care to add extra gratuity, you’ll receive their Venmo in your delivery confirmation text message.

How much should I order?

Our base order consists of four to six meals per person. Some people use our service to simplify dinnertime; others choose to stock their fridge with breakfast, lunch and dinner. (No food shopping this week. High five!)

Start by considering how many meals you are looking for and how many people are eating.

If multiple portions of each dish feels like too much food, consider starting small for your first order to get a feel for quantities. (We don’t want you to over-order!) Order for one, add on additional portions, and see how that works with your lifestyle.

I'm ordering for two or more people, but this feels like too much food. Help!

When you order for more than one person in our Classic option, we automatically size up the portions. You can expect four to six meals per person. If you're only looking for two to three meals per person, consider selecting “serving one” and split the dishes. If that doesn’t feel like enough food, add some extra individual portions where you see fit.

If two portions of each dish feels like too much food, consider starting small for your first order to get a feel for quantities. (We don’t want you to over-order!) Order for one, add on additional portions, and see how that works with your lifestyle.

Can I order for just one person?

Absolutely. Our fresh meal delivery service starts at $100 for one person. Each additional person is only $50.

What's the difference between Classic and Flex ordering?

When ordering for more than one person, we have two options:

CLASSIC
With a Classic order, we'll automatically size up your “base order” selections to feed the amount of people you selected. For example, if you choose to serve “three people” and then select a green salad, you’ll get three portions of that salad. Any modifications (like "no cheese") will be made to all portions of the green salad.

FLEX
A Flex order gives you the ability to select and customize each dish for each person you are ordering for. This is a great option if the people who are eating want different items or need to make different modifications. Example: If you choose to serve "three people," you can select two green salads with no nuts and a green salad with no cheese.

Do you have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options?

For sure! We prioritize healthy, wholesome eating in all forms. Each week, we have many options for all types of eaters (denoted and searchable on the menu) and indicate where additional substitutions can be made. If our offerings don’t meet your needs, we’re always open to suggestions. Reach out here.

How long will my meals last?

Our chefs use excellent from-the-farm ingredients (no preservatives!), expert cooking techniques, and timely preparation. (They only make your meals once the order is placed.) Our point? Your food arrives incredibly fresh and will last, in the fridge, until Friday night. (However, we’ve been known to eat our meals on Saturdays and Sundays, too!) Are there subscriptions? Do I have to order every week?

Our company’s number-one goal is to make your life easier, which means we’ll never lock you into anything or automatically charge your card. We encourage you to use our service when you need it. So in other words: No subscriptions. No weekly requirements.

Also, so you know: Ordering is open from Tuesday to Friday at 10 p.m.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

We hope that by building a custom menu and receiving a confirmation email, you won’t need to change or cancel your order. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise, you can cancel your order until 10 p.m. on Friday for a full refund, minus a $10 service fee. Any cancellations after 10 p.m. on Friday are nonrefundable. (The meals from canceled orders will be donated to families in need.)

How do I use a gift card or promo code?

It’s easy! You can enter your gift card number, promo code or referral code at checkout. Please note: You must have an account and be logged in first.
